I have been a Toastmaster since the beginning of 2011 and I joined the Talking Matters Toastmasters Club in Doha, Qatar. Please see their website HERE
Toastmasters is a non profit making organisation and the main focus is to help people overcome the fear of public speaking. There are two main themes running through Toastmasters, Communication and Leadership.
The first stage in Communication is the achievement of a Competent Communicator (CC) and to complete this you have to give ten prepared speeches (Projects 1 to 10 or P1 to P10 for short).
